She was a star in the minor dance film Looking for Lola but she is most likely best known for her guest-starring part in the role of Ampata Gutierrez, aka Inca Mummy Girl from season two of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Ara Celi, an American producer and actress who is also a writer, gained her fame with the films Machete (2010), American Beauty (1999) as well as Buffy the Vampire Slayer (2007). Her first well-known role came in Saved by the Bell: The College Years in 1993 in which she portrayed the character that was Theresa Alvarez.
