Ms. Rivas possesses over thirteen years experience as a certified clinical social workers who is bicultural and bilingual. She has worked with diverse people, such as LGBTQ+, those dealing with issues related to substance abuse as well as victims of sexual assault, and intimate partners violence. She's worked with Erie clients in the year 2019 The services of Telehealth are available for Behavioral Health. Mrs. Rivas belongs to the Behavioral health Perinatal team who work with pregnant and postpartum woman. She has been trained in adult EMDR and trauma-informed. She provides group and individual counseling sessions, a Medication Assist Therapy Program and referrals to specialty care, and women's support groups. Amanda serves as an Best Friends Animal Society volunteer aiding in finding an appropriate home for homeless animals. She is a firm believer in the mantra that is the motto of Best Friends, "Save Them All", and she's determined to turn Los Angeles into a city that doesn't kill animals.
